Description:
The MQ3 gas sensor is part of the MQ family and is designed to detect alcohol concentration in the air. The sensing element is made of Tin Dioxide (SnO2), which has low conductivity in clean air. When the sensor comes in contact with alcohol vapors, its conductivity increases in proportion to the alcohol concentration. This sensor is ideal for measuring alcohol levels in breathalyzer applications, gas leak detection, or alcohol monitoring.
The MQ3 sensor provides both analog and digital output, which can be adjusted with an onboard potentiometer to fine-tune the sensor's sensitivity. This module is a low-cost and fast-response solution for alcohol detection, with a wide range of applications such as portable alcohol detectors, gas level alarms, and breathalyzer devices.
