LDR Light Sensor Module, An LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor, also known as a photoresistor, is a type of passive electronic component that changes its resistance in response to changes in light intensity. LDR sensors are made from semiconductor materials that exhibit this light-sensitive behaviour. When exposed to light, the resistance of the LDR decreases, and when in darkness, its resistance increases. This property makes LDR sensors useful for applications like automatic lighting control, light level measurement, and dusk-to-dawn switches. They are simple, low-cost devices commonly used to detect ambient light conditions and trigger actions based on those conditions LM393 based design.
