Description:
The Water Sensor Brick is specially designed for water detection applications. It can effectively sense rainfall, water levels, or detect liquid leakage. The sensor consists of three main parts: an electronic brick connector, a 1 MΩ pull-up resistor, and multiple bare conducting wires.
This sensor operates by exposing a series of conductive traces connected to ground and sensor traces. When water bridges the traces, it changes the electrical state, allowing the Arduino to detect water presence. You can use this sensor with both digital and analog I/O pins of Arduino boards, such as Arduino UNO, Mega2560, and ADK.
The sensor features high sensitivity, low power consumption, and converts water contact into an analog signal, making it easy to integrate into alarm and detection systems for various applications.
