Description:

The LM7924 is a 3-terminal negative voltage regulator designed to provide a stable -24V output. With built-in thermal overload protection, short circuit protection, and output transistor safe-area compensation, this regulator ensures reliability in various electronic applications.

This regulator requires only one external component, a compensation capacitor, at the output for stable performance. It features a low ground pin current, making it easily adaptable for voltage boosting using a resistor divider. The high ripple rejection and 4% tolerance on the preset output voltage ensure consistent voltage regulation even under fluctuating line and load conditions.
