The LM7812 is a fixed +12V positive voltage regulator from the well-known 78xx series. This three-pin TO-220 package IC is widely used to maintain a stable +12V supply for various electronic components and circuits. It includes thermal overload protection, short circuit protection, and safe operating area protection, making it robust and reliable for both commercial and hobbyist applications.
