Description:

The LM338T is a three-terminal adjustable positive voltage regulator available in a TO-220 package, capable of providing stable output voltages. This versatile IC allows output voltage adjustment from 1.2V to 32V DC, making it ideal for a variety of applications where flexible voltage regulation is required. It can deliver up to 5A of continuous output current, with 7A peak current.

This regulator is especially useful in scenarios where input voltage fluctuates, as it maintains a stable output voltage. To ensure reliable performance, the input voltage must always be 2-3V higher than the output. For example, if the output is set to 5V, a minimum input voltage of 7V is required.
