Description:

The LM2576T-ADJ is a switch-mode step-down voltage regulator (buck converter) designed to provide efficient voltage regulation with minimal external components. This monolithic integrated circuit can drive a load of up to 3A while maintaining excellent line and load regulation. Available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5.0V, 12V, and 15V, as well as an adjustable version ranging from 1.23V to 37V, it is perfect for power supply designs that demand high efficiency.

As a switch-mode power supply, the LM2576T-ADJ is significantly more efficient than traditional linear regulators, particularly when handling higher input voltages. This high efficiency leads to reduced power dissipation, eliminating the need for large heatsinks in most cases. For applications requiring a compact and efficient power solution, this regulator is ideal.
