Description:

The LD1117 3.3V Linear Voltage Regulator in the TO-220 package provides a stable 3.3V output from an input voltage range of 4.3V to 15V. It is designed to offer low dropout voltage of 1V, making it suitable for use in low-voltage systems and battery-powered devices.

This regulator is capable of delivering up to 950mA of output current (with a 1300mA maximum output with appropriate heat sinking). It is commonly used for converting 5V to 3.3V in power supplies, voltage regulation for other components, and various consumer electronics projects. Its low quiescent current of 5mA ensures minimal power consumption when not in load.
